Who we are

We are craft beer enthusiasts who have traveled the world in search of great beer. We have met many interesting and fascinating people over the years and we have found that beer is a catalyst for fun and very much a part of human culture.  You will find us in breweries both large and small, at festivals where people are celebrating and enjoying life, and basically anywhere you may come across people who share our passion for beer.

Our Story

In 2011 we travelled to Munich Germany to attend the largest beer festival in the world, Oktoberfest, or “Wiesn” for all of you Bavarian locals.  It was there that we realized that beer was more than just a beverage to drink after work or on the beach.  Beer is human culture and it plays an important role in human history as it helped to shape our civilization.  Bavaria has a rich history and beer is a big part of it.  Oktoberfest is a celebration.  It’s a festival where locals share their culture with the rest of the world.  Beer speaks volumes and sharing a beer with others is an activity that breaks down language barriers with one simple word…”Prost!” (google translation = “Cheers”!)

Since our first visit to Bavaria, we have returned each year.  Further, it was the first Oktoberfest visit where we decided to establish a brewery in the United States where we would promote the positive, festive, cross-cultural sharing of beer, food, and entertainment with friends, family, and our fellow countrymen.

So, stop into Salty Bull Brewing Company.  We hope to share with you our passion for beer and we hope you catch the bug as we once did while drinking a liter of Oktoberfest bier at Wiesn in Munch Germany!

Cheers!
